For this year's festivities, I covered Paris in over 50 000 Christmas lights. It's the first SLR to ever participate in this trend and probably the last one. You can't imagine the average Otto or Hans doing this for 15 hours. I do things differently. It did take 15 hours, couldn't feel my knees for days and, yes, last but not least, it's very much illegal. But who cares?! It looks so damn good.

In Paris' case, I opted for an external battery in the trunk. You can do this with an inverter, but Paris is Paris and considering the past battery issues, I played it safe. This means I have to stop, open the trunk and then I can turn the lights on or off. With a power inverter you can easily do all that from the inside.

But WOW, WOW, WOW! My heart stopped when I turned them all on. I started crying... My god, I adore this car, words can't explain how it makes me feel!

Isn't she gorgeous?! It was all worth it!
